Fulfillment Terms

Shipping

"In Stock" items generally ship within 1-3 business days, unless otherwise noted. Expedited shipping will ensure package ships within 24 hours (weekdays only), providing everything is in stock.  Orders with back order or out of stock items will ship when items return to stock.   

 

Shipments to the Contiguous 48 US States

Orders placed on our site qualify for economy shipping if shipping to the contiguous 48 US States. We will choose the most economical way to ship your order. If you require a specific carrier for your order, you will need to choose and pay for that option at checkout.  Additional insurance or freight charges may be added for Alaska, Hawaii, or if specified upon purchase.

 

International Shipping Terms & Conditions

Prices are shown in US dollars. Any import duties, taxes, or brokerage fees due at the time of delivery are the sole responsibility of the receiving customer.

 

Liability

Once a package is picked up by the carrier, Heritage Cruisers no longer maintains liability for the shipment. Delays and/or lost packages are the responsibility of the carrier. 

 

Freight Forwarding

We will gladly ship Heritage Cruisers products to freight forwarders in the US. If your package is shipped to a freight forwarder, any damages and/or missing items must be noted by them before the package leaves their facility to be eligible for claims.

 

Hazardous Items

Items designated as hazardous, such as paints and/or chemicals, may only be shipped via ground shipping to the contiguous 48 US states. Hazardous items will be identified on the product description page.

 

Lost, Damaged or Undeliverable Items

Lost or damaged shipment claims are filed with the carrier and subject to their investigation and timeline. We will work with both parties as much as we can to find a resolution.

 

For damaged items, please let us know within 48 hours of delivery if any goods arrive damaged. We will do our best to resolve the situation to ensure optimal experience. Please keep all original shipping containers and packaging and take pictures. Damaged Goods claims are handled through the shipping carrier. We will assist our customers in these claims. Failure to photograph and keep all packaging materials for inspection will, in most cases, disqualify you from product replacement or reimbursement.

For undeliverable items that are Returned to Sender, shipments will be auto refunded minus return shipping charges. 

 

Shipping Insurance

Heritage Cruisers encourages you to take advantage of 3rd party shipping insurance by ‘Route’.  This 3rd party insurance is backed by Lloyd’s of London and will be offered to all customers during checkout.  It can cover loss, damage, or theft at an excellent rate.   You may ‘Opt Out’ of shipping insurance by turning off the ‘Route + Shipping Protection’ button within the shopping cart during checkout. 

 

Order Cancellations

Customers have 24 hours to cancel any unfulfilled orders.  All fulfilled orders are unable to be canceled once they have been picked up by shipping carrier.
